Toyota to Launch 3 Products at IIMS 2025, Including a Corolla Cross Hybrid

KatadataOTO – Toyota will launch three new models at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. They confirmed this while presenting the products they will bring to the annual event.

The presence of these three new products is believed to give the public more choices ahead of the 2025 Lebaran homecoming season. This will certainly benefit potential customers looking for a new vehicle.

“We are ready to launch two electrified models and one new line-up at IIMS 2025,” said Suci Ramadhani, Public Relations Executive Officer of PT. Toyota Astra Motor this afternoon (04/02).

Unfortunately, she did not specify the products to be launched in detail. However, based on information from a salesperson, one of the models is the Corolla Cross Hybrid.

The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid facelift itself was actually launched in Thailand in February 2024. Various changes have been made by the manufacturer, especially on the exterior.

On the front, the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid facelift features a more minimalist honeycomb grille design, typical of electric cars. Its appearance is even more attractive because the car also uses LED headlamps.

The top variant of the car is equipped with 18-inch wheels wrapped in 225/80 R18 tires. The same goes for the GR Sport trim, but it uses a different wheel design as a differentiator.

Meanwhile, in the cabin, the refresh includes the addition of an EPB (Electric Parking Brake). They also replaced the head unit with a 12.3-inch display screen for the hybrid variant and a 10.1-inch screen for the models below it.

The Toyota Corolla Cross Facelift still uses the TNGA platform and a 1,800 cc engine. The powertrain is capable of producing up to 122 hp combined with an electric motor.

Besides presenting new products, Toyota will also hold a Carbon Neutrality Mobility Event exhibition. The event will be held at Gambir Expo from February 12 - 15, 2025, and will showcase their electrification technology.
