Toyota to Unveil Two New Cars at IIMS 2025, One Resembling the Corolla Cross

KatadataOTO – TAM (Toyota Astra Motor) is preparing a new car for IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025. This was discovered from KatadataOTO's observation on Wednesday (12/02).

Several four-wheeled vehicles from Toyota were seen covered by shrouds in Hall D10 JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

All of the products were already on stage. Unfortunately, KatadataOTO could not get much information.

However, Toyota had previously revealed that they wanted to display two environmentally friendly vehicles.

“We are ready to launch two electrified models,” said Suci Ramadhani, Public Relation Executive Officer of TAM some time ago.

Again, she did not mention in detail about the new Toyota car at the IIMS 2025 exhibition.

On the other hand, a salesperson stated that the Japanese manufacturer would be launching the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid.

“One of the models closest to being launched is the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. The units will be available in March 2025,” said the salesperson separately.

It should be noted that the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid had previously been launched in Thailand since February 2024.

There are several changes offered by this Toyota hybrid car. Especially for several parts of the exterior.

First of all is the fascia of the Toyota Corolla Hybrid. It now has a grille with a honeycomb design.

Making its appearance more minimalist and modern. It becomes even more eye-catching after being fitted with LED headlights.

Moving to the cabin, changes were also made by Toyota. One of them is the presence of an EPB (Electric Parking Brake).

Furthermore, they also replaced the head unit with a 12.3-inch display screen for the hybrid variant and a 10.1-inch one for the model below it.

The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid still relies on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform. It also carries a 1,800 cc hybrid engine.

It is claimed to be able to produce a maximum power of up to 122 hp. It is said to be reliable for various activities.

Meanwhile, the Toyota Camry Hybrid is also rumored to be debuting at IIMS 2025. It is the newest or ninth generation (XV80).

Before being launched domestically, the environmentally friendly vehicle had already enlivened the markets in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam.

Unfortunately, there is not much information about the Toyota Camry Hybrid that will be launched at IIMS 2025.
