The Toyota Veloz Hybrid is expected to reach consumers before the Lebaran holiday season in March 2026.
KatadataOTO – The Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Toyota Veloz Hybrid has received a positive response from consumers in the country. Less than two months after its launch, the number of orders is claimed to be nearly 4,000 units.
The Toyota Veloz Hybrid is a family car that fills the segment below the Kijang Innova Zenix, adding another environmentally friendly vehicle option for consumers.
Four variants are offered with prices ranging from Rp 299 million to Rp 390 million on the road in Jakarta.
Facing a surge in orders, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) is striving to deliver units to consumers as quickly as possible.
“We are also continuously coordinating with the manufacturer to present this model so that customers can use it during the 2026 Lebaran holiday,” said Jap Ernando Demily, Marketing Director of PT TAM, to KatadataOTO recently.
Previously, a representative from PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) confirmed that deliveries of the Veloz Hybrid will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Throughout January 2026, customers can still enjoy a special price starting from Rp 299 million, which is a special pre-booking price.
“This step was taken to make it easier for more customers to plan their ownership of a Toyota hybrid vehicle,” Ernando affirmed.
For more details, here is the list of Toyota Veloz Hybrid prices valid in January 2026. The figures are on-the-road prices for Jakarta.
The Toyota Veloz Hybrid's appearance is not much different from its conventional type. The hybrid variant gets a two-tone color option that significantly distinguishes it from the previous Veloz.
Then, like other Toyota hybrid lines, the T emblem on the Veloz Hybrid is framed with a blue accent. There is an additional badge with the word "Hybrid" on the rear of the car.
This family car is equipped with a 1,500 cc 4-cylinder 16-valve DOHC 2NR-VEX engine, claimed to produce 109.4 hp and 121 Nm of torque.
Its hybrid system is supported by an electric motor with 79 hp and 141 Nm of torque and an NMC battery with a capacity of 0.74 kWh.
