KatadataOTO – Many manufacturers saw great success at IIMS 2025. One of them is TAM (Toyota Astra Motor).
This Japanese manufacturer claims to have secured 2,728 SPK (Vehicle Order Letters), during the exhibition held at JIEXpo Kemayoran from February 13-23, 2025.
This number is claimed to have surpassed last year's achievement. At IIMS 2024, they only recorded 2,540 SPK.
“We greatly appreciate the customers' enthusiasm for Toyota products at IIMS 2025,” said Henry Tanoto, Vice President Director of TAM in an official statement on Friday (28/02).
Furthermore, Henry believes that Toyota's achievement at IIMS 2025 shows the high level of customer trust in their products.
Especially for Toyota's hybrid cars which became the main attraction, as experienced by the Kijang Innova Zenix.
“This achievement is a positive signal that the automotive industry, especially hybrids, will continue to grow in line with the trend of environmentally friendly mobility,” Henry continued.
He also believes that this success can drive the wheels of the economy, as all of Toyota's four-wheeled vehicles are produced domestically.
This makes their selling prices more competitive and most relevant and easy to apply in the current energy transition period.
It should be noted, the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid recorded 614 SPK, followed by the Avanza with 335 SPK and the Rush with 216 SPK.
Meanwhile, the gasoline-powered Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix followed in fourth place with 181 SPK. Lastly, the Innova Reborn registered 174 SPK.
On the other hand, Toyota does not deny that the government's hybrid car incentives played a large role in Toyota's success at IIMS 2025.
Because it can make the selling price of the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid and others more affordable.
“In addition, the IIMS 2025 event was also close to the Eid holiday moment. This makes it the right time to prepare for new mobility solutions,” said Anton Jimmi Suwandy, Marketing Director of PT TAM.
Anton revealed that their environmentally friendly products are able to combine fuel efficiency, optimal performance, and technology that suits the needs of consumers in the country.
Lastly, all of Toyota's hybrid cars are designed on an all-new platform. This is claimed to improve the driving quality, from comfort and handling to safety.
