Alva Cervo Gets New Variant, Features LFP Battery

KatadataOTO – The electric motorcycle market has once again welcomed a new product. This comes after IMG (Ilectra Motor Group) launched the Alva Cervo X.

This EV (Electric Vehicle) is a new variant of the Alva Cervo, which was previously commercialized.

“We are presenting a new product from Alva today,” said Putu Swaditya Yudha, Chief Marketing Officer of Alva in Cikarang on Thursday (22/05)

Putu stated that the Alva Cervo X offers a number of updates. The most noticeable refresh is in the power storage section.

Unlike its sibling, this new Alva electric motorcycle is equipped with an LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) battery. It is claimed to spoil the owners.

Because the charging time for the Alva Cervo X is shorter. From a 10 percent to 50 percent state of charge, it only takes 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, if you want to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent, it can take 50 minutes.

This capability is enhanced by the AICS (Alva Intelligent Charging System).

“Why do we use this (LFP battery)? Long durability, lower risk, and more efficiency,” Putu continued.

Meanwhile, regarding the range, the Alva Cervo X is claimed to be able to travel up to 125 km on a single charge.

Then, its maximum speed reaches 130 km per hour. So it is suitable for various daily activities.

In addition, the Alva Cervo X is also equipped with new tires. This electric motorcycle relies on Pirelli tires sized 100/80 ring 14 in the front and 140/70 ring 14 in the rear.

On the other hand, in terms of appearance, the Alva Cervo X still features a sporty design. Sharp lines are visible throughout the body of this EV.

To support comfort, the Alva Cervo X is equipped with a main LED projector lighting system combined with a rear light of similar technology, adding to the sporty impression.

Then there is a Color TFT LCD that displays various information to the rider. Such as speed to battery consumption.

For your information, the Alva Cervo X is sold in three color options. For example, Glacier White, Rocket Red, and Shadow Black.
