KatadataOTO – Motorcycle enthusiasts will likely need to prepare more funds when they want to buy a two-wheeled vehicle in August 2025. This is because a number of products have experienced price increases.

According to KatadataOTO's monitoring on Saturday (09/08), Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has raised the prices of several of their affordable automatic scooters.

For example, the price of the Honda Beat CBS in August 2025 is now Rp 18,980,000. Whereas last month it was only Rp 18,930,000.

Then, the Honda Beat Deluxe is offered at Rp 19,851,000. If you look closely, there is an increase of around Rp 50 thousand from July 2025.

The Honda Beat Street has not escaped the price increase this month. The automatic scooter is now offered at Rp 19,851,000.

Meanwhile, the price of the Honda Beat Deluxe Smart Key has also been raised. From the original Rp 20,310,000 to Rp 20,381,000.

Next, the price increase for affordable automatic scooters can also be seen on the Honda Vario 125. The CBS variant was initially sold at Rp 23,910,000, then in August 2025 it rose to Rp 24,160,000.

Then the price of the Honda Vario 125 CBS-ISS was only Rp 25,565,000 in July 2025. However, this month it increased to Rp 25,815,000.

It should be noted that in July 2025, the prices of the Honda Beat to the Vario had already been raised by varying amounts. However, in August they were raised again.

For your information, the prices of other affordable Honda automatic scooters like the Scoopy and Genio are observed to be stable this month.

On the other hand, other motorcycle manufacturers have not done the same as Honda. For example, products from Yamaha.

The prices for the Yamaha Grand Filano to the Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid are stable this month. So consumers don't need to dig too deep into their pockets.

Meanwhile, the prices of affordable Suzuki automatic scooters have also not increased. They remain the same as in previous months.

TVS has also taken a similar step. The Indian manufacturer is reluctant to adjust the prices of their products.
