Check Out the Latest Yamaha Tmax Specifications, Perfect for Touring

KatadataOTO – The 2026 Yamaha Tmax model has officially launched. The presence of this large maxi-scooter is sure to tempt touring enthusiasts.

Moreover, this automatic scooter has been equipped with many changes by Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), from design to technological and feature enhancements.

“In early 2026, Yamaha will once again sell the Tmax as a CBU product that can be ordered at Yamaha CBU dealers,” said Rifki Maulana, Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community at YIMM, some time ago.

Looking closer, in terms of appearance, the Yamaha Tmax comes with a new design touch targeting the cowling and headlight area.

Carrying the concept of Calmness & Maturity, the Yamaha Tmax now has a more elegant and premium fascia by reducing sharp lines and curves.

The headlight uses Mono-Focus Lens technology which is brighter and more focused, with an iconic T-shape design to represent the Tmax identity.

The Yamaha Tmax instrument panel uses a seven-inch TFT screen. It is also equipped with Y-Connect connectivity and the Garmin Motorize navigation system.

Its display can also be changed according to the owner's wishes, as it features three different themes.

Moving down, the wheels have been improved through a Heat Treatment process. This makes the component stronger and lighter.

On the other hand, to maximize riding control, the Yamaha Tmax is supported by a sturdy aluminum frame and handlebar, an Upside Down (USD) front suspension, and a Link Type Mono-Cross rear suspension, similar to a motorsport bike.

Yamaha also includes a modern feature, the 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It functions to prevent tire slip when the rider brakes while maneuvering by utilizing sensors.

The Smart Key System used on the Yamaha Tmax has many functions, such as starting the engine, opening the seat, and opening the fuel tank cap.

Making it even more interesting, the latest Yamaha Tmax has a center stand locking system or Anti-Theft Locking Centre Stand.
