KatadataOTOKawasaki has managed to stir up automotive enthusiasts. This is because they recently made a post on Tiktok.

Citing the @kawasakiusa_ account, there is a 20-second video. It features several comments from Kawasaki fans asking for a two-stroke motorcycle.

The brand from the Land of the Rising Sun immediately responded with the text "we heard you" accompanied by the sound of a two-stroke motorcycle engine.

The post immediately garnered a lot of responses. This is because other manufacturers are currently focused on introducing electric two-wheeled vehicles.

They are instead reportedly preparing a new product with a two-stroke engine. This is to meet the demand from consumers.

However, not much information is circulating. Including about what motorcycle Kawasaki is preparing.

However, citing Visordown.com, it is mentioned that Kawasaki filed a patent in July 2024 for a new two-stroke engine.

It is said to be more advanced than conventional two-stroke engines. Because it is already equipped with an injection system, no longer using a carburetor.

Then there are also intake valves operated by a camshaft. Finally, the most attention-grabbing feature is the inclusion of a turbocharger.

It is claimed to be able to increase fuel efficiency. While maintaining the performance and characteristics of a two-stroke engine.

On the other hand, it is claimed to have several advantages. Such as a light weight and very large power output despite the small engine capacity.

The mechanical heart is said to be designed to work with a larger amount of air in the combustion chamber.

Thus, it can increase fuel efficiency. Making it even more economical to use.

Nevertheless, there are no more detailed specifications regarding the new two-stroke engine being prepared by Kawasaki.

Meanwhile, some sources say that the new engine will supposedly be used for aircraft.

On the other hand, some say it will be embedded in the Kawasaki KX platform or chassis. Seeing this opportunity, it could certainly happen.

Considering Kawasaki has launched many trail bikes for their fans around the world, including in Indonesia.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether the news of the new Kawasaki two-stroke motorcycle's arrival will become a reality or not.
