KatadataOTO – In January 2025, almost all manufacturers increased the price of 125 cc automatic motorcycles. As did AHM (Astra Honda Motor).

The manufacturer with the flapping wing logo adjusted the price of the Honda Vario 125. The amount was not too much, around Rp 100 thousand.

For example, the Honda Vario 125 CBS is now marketed at around Rp 23.4 million. Then, for the CBS-ISS and CBS-ISS Special Colour types, they are offered at around Rp 25 million.

On the other hand, it's not just Honda that has increased the price of 125 cc automatic motorcycles. YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing) also took a similar step.

As happened with the Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid Neo, it is sold for around Rp 27.9 million in January 2025. Meanwhile, the Hybrid Lux variant is around Rp 28.4 million.

Then, the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid also experienced a similar fate. At the beginning of the year, this automatic motorcycle could be had for around Rp 21.9 million.

Then the price of the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid Neo is around Rp 23.7 million. Lastly, for the Hybrid Lux type, you need to prepare funds of around Rp 24.3 million.

Elsewhere, some TVS 125 cc automatic motorcycles also experienced an increase. Just like the previous products, the amount of the increase varies.

If you intend to buy the Callisto Premium, you must have around Rp 22.6 million. Meanwhile, the basic variant is priced at Rp 22 million.

Just a reminder, 125 cc automatic motorcycles are not subject to 12 percent VAT. This is in accordance with the Minister of Finance Regulation number 141/PMK.010/2021.

According to article 22, it is stated that the Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM) only applies to certain two-wheeled vehicles, namely those with engine capacities from 250 cc to 500 cc.
