BBQ Ride 2025 Will Feature More Local Heroes from the Kustom Kulture Scene

KatadataOTO – The BBQ Ride event is ready to be held again on May 17 – 18, 2025. This event itself will take place at Tritan Point, Bandung, West Java.

The custom culture scene in Indonesia continues to develop in a positive direction. This is evident from several events that have been held in a number of major cities.

BBQ Ride itself is an annual event and has been running since 2012. It has become one of the stages for business players in the automotive and supporting industries.

As for BBQ Ride 2025, it will carry the theme of Local Heroes. Thus providing an opportunity for the custom culture scene to make a comeback this weekend.

Entering its 12th year, this event is claimed to be a movement for custom culture players to level up.

“At BBQ Ride 2025, which carries the theme of Local Heroes, we give appreciation to the players in the custom culture scene. Because they have struggled to build and preserve the custom culture scene in Indonesia,” said Chandra Perdana Murti, the Initiator of BBQ Ride, in a press release quoted (13/05).

He added that the country's custom culture players have brought Indonesia's name to the international stage.

Through typical custom culture products such as apparel, helmets, gloves, electric conversion kits, and motorcycle spare parts to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Japan, Europe, and the United States.

BBQ Ride 2025 will hold a special journey titled BBQ Red Trip. The entourage will travel through three cities, including Cirebon, Malang, and end on the island of Bali.

BBQ Ride itself is said to be a name used as a reminder that this event can be enjoyed by all circles.

So it does not create levels or gaps for the entire community. As a result, an atmosphere of warmth and kinship is created.

Tritan Point is indeed a venue that is often used as a location for music concerts. Located in East Bandung, Tritan Point is believed to be the largest venue during the BBQ Ride event.

The choice of venue itself was made to anticipate the high enthusiasm of visitors. In addition, it provides more space for exhibitors to display their works.

A number of vehicles with historical value will be displayed, such as vehicles belonging to RRI (Radio Republik Indonesia) and a people's health service ambulance from Bandung regency belonging to the TNI.

“This year's event, we hope, can provide a refresh both in terms of the venue and the content we have prepared. So that visitors feel more comfortable,” explained Chandra.
