Check Out Traffic Diversions During Formula E Jakarta E-Prix 2025

KatadataOTO – PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk will implement traffic engineering during the electric car race Formula E. This step is being taken to prevent congestion, especially in the tourist area.

Thus, it is hoped that the event held at the Jakarta International E-Prix can run optimally.

“We are coordinating with many parties, including the organizers, to ensure that the 2025 Jakarta International E-Prix runs safely and smoothly,” said Daniel Windriatmoko, Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, as reported by Antara.

With this traffic engineering, spectators will be picked up by shuttle bus from the parking location to the 2025 International Jakarta E-Prix arena.

Furthermore, spectators with President Suite and Royal Suite tickets can park their vehicles in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) parking area, and the organizers will also provide buses to pick up spectators from the parking location to the race arena.

“We have prepared well to support the organizers, Jakpro and the DKI Provincial Government, to ensure the success of the Formula E electric car race,” added Daniel.

Despite hosting an international event, he assured that Ancol and its recreational units will continue to operate normally. All entrance gates will be open as usual, from the West Gate, Marina Pier Gate, to the East Gate.

“Visitors will also be directed to the parking areas we have prepared,” he said.

It should be noted that the Formula E Jakarta E-Prix 2025 will be held at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol on June 21, 2025. Not only the race, but various supporting events have also been prepared to ensure the event runs smoothly.

One of them is a concert featuring Jeff Scott Soto, Dino Jelusick, Ello, and Dewa 19 Featuring All Stars.

The Formula E Jakarta E-Prix itself has been held three times in the country. Indonesia is the only host in Southeast Asia.

"We miss racing in Jakarta and are really looking forward to being here," said Alberto Longo, Formula E Chief Championship Officer & Co-Founder, on a different occasion.

He also mentioned that Jakarta is one of the most important series because the number of Formula E racing fans is quite large. He hopes this year's event will be as well-received as the previous series.
