KatadataOTO – To ensure the success of the Jakarta International E-Prix 2025 event at the Ancol Circuit in North Jakarta today, Saturday (21/6), the DKI Transportation Agency has provided a number of parking areas for spectators.

The locations are quite spread out, so it is hoped that they will not complicate access.

“Jakarta E-Prix spectators are not allowed to park outside the designated locations,” said Syafrin Liputo, Head of the Transportation Agency, as reported by Antara (21/06).

For VVIP Royal and VIP Suite ticket holders, a parking location has been provided at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). This spot can accommodate 1,000 four-wheeled vehicles and 500 motorcycles.

For spectators with Grandstand and Festival tickets, parking has been prepared at the Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF),  on the west side of the Jakarta International Stadium. The number of vehicles that can be accommodated is 1,000 cars.

Besides these two locations, spectators can still park their vehicles within the Ancol area. Moreover, all gates will be opened to facilitate access.

Several parking locations with large capacities are available, such as the Old Dufan area which can accommodate 700 vehicles.

Then there is also the E Convention with a capacity of 800 vehicles and Pasar Seni for 500 cars.

"From the parking location, spectators can use a 'shuttle' bus to get to the electric car racing arena," he said.

Traffic Management Implemented Inside Ancol

It was previously reported that PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk would implement traffic management in the Ancol area of North Jakarta during the Jakarta International E-Prix on Saturday (21/6). This step was taken to avoid causing congestion around the event.

“We are coordinating with many parties, including the organizers, to ensure that the Jakarta International E-Prix 2025 runs safely and smoothly,” explained Daniel Windriatmoko, Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk.

One of the measures taken is that the road from the Symphony of The Sea roundabout in front of Ancol's east gate to the Bende area will be closed. This will serve as the entrance to the Jakarta International E Prix 2025 circuit.
