KatadataOTO – The circulation of counterfeit oil in Indonesia continues to be eradicated. This is because it can be detrimental to many parties.

Not just from the consumer's side alone. But it also harms producers by tarnishing the company's good name.

Federal Oil is one of the producers continuously fighting the circulation of counterfeit oil. Last month, they took action against distributors of counterfeit lubricants in Jambi.

“We remain committed to ensuring consumer comfort and safety. Working with various parties to ensure the authenticity of Federal Oil products in the market,” said Alfin Kurniadi, B2C Sales Director of PT EMLI (ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia) some time ago.

Besides taking direct action, Federal Oil also frequently educates consumers. One way is through a consumer program with phone credit prizes.

Running since August 2025, while also commemorating its 37th anniversary, the program has been extended until November 30.

By participating in the program above, consumers can verify the authenticity of the product. Because the participation method is similar to proving the lubricant's originality.

Users of automatic motorcycles have the opportunity to get phone credit prizes. So they can immediately feel the benefits.

“We want more consumers to experience the benefits of this program. The addition of products and the extension of the period are a commitment to continue providing more value, as well as education,” said Rommy Averdy Saat, Market Development General Manager of PT EMLI.

Federal Oil is adding two superior lubricant variants. Federal Racing Matic 10W-30 (0.8L) and Federal Racing Matic 10W-40 (1L).

Each is designed to provide high performance and maximum comfort. Especially for users of automatic motorcycles who are active in various conditions.

The latest Federal Racing Matic has undergone a quality improvement. If the previous product was API SL certified, this oil now has an API SN specification.

The new standard is claimed to provide better protection against wear, sludge, and deposits.

As a result, the engine condition becomes cleaner and combustion is more optimal.

Then, the new Federal Racing Matic lubricant also provides better protection against oxidation. It also protects modern engine catalysts with its low phosphorus (P) content.

Federal Racing Matic is marketed with a highest retail price ranging from Rp 65 thousand to Rp 70 thousand.
