Federal Oil Offers Free Engine Oil Change for 10,100 Consumers

KatadataOTO – Federal Oil is making another breakthrough in early 2025. The lubricant brand from PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (EMLI) has set a record with MURI (Indonesian World Record Museum).

The record was set for a program providing free oil changes for 10,100 bottles. It was stated that to ensure the event's success, they collaborated with Dewa Motor Indonesia.

For one month starting January 21, 2025, Federal Oil and all Dewa Motor outlets provided free engine oil changes.

It was said that this achievement broke their previous record. Because in 2014, Federal Oil had also provided free lubricant changes.

“Federal Oil, together with Dewa Motor, wants to show a shared commitment to continuously provide quality products and services for consumers,” said Rommy Averdy Saat, the Market Development General Manager of PT EMLI in a press release (26/02).

It was further stated that the free oil change program is in line with Federal Oil's 'Definitely More Comfortable' campaign. With the hope of bringing a positive impact and getting closer to consumers.

“In the future, Federal Oil will continue to present programs that make consumers more comfortable. Coming up in the month of Ramadan, we are also preparing other surprise programs for consumers,” explained Rommy.

Present as a special lubricant for motorcycles, Federal Oil has products developed for scooters. Federal Matic targets daily riders, especially those with motorcycles made by Japanese manufacturers.

As is known, the motorcycle market in Indonesia is more than 90 percent dominated by scooter models. Furthermore, manufacturers from the Land of the Cherry Blossom have dominated the market for the past several decades.

Federal Matic itself is claimed to use Triple Comfort Formula technology. The advantage of this lubricant is that it can save fuel (Bahan Bakar Minyak) consumption by up to 5 percent.

This is because their oil is able to reduce combustion chamber heat by up to 5 degrees. Thus, it can provide more responsive power.
