IIMS 2025 Only Targets IDR 6.7 Trillion, Despite More Participants

KatadataOTO – IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 will be held soon. This automotive exhibition offers many new things.

Including the number of participants taking part. The passenger vehicle segment is said to have increased.

This year, 33 car brands will be participating. The number above has increased by about 10 brands from 2024.

“Looking at the addition of 10 car brands as participants, we are targeting Rp 6.7 trillion for the transaction value at IIMS 2025,” said Rudi MF, Project Manager of IIMS 2025 in Jakarta, Thursday (16/1).

According to him, there are a number of considerations why they decided to set the transaction target at Rp 6.7 trillion.

Such as looking at the sluggish new car sales trend in 2024. Because it was only around 800 thousand units.

“Based on that, we also adjusted our figures, so last year's car transaction figure was lowered,” said Rudy.

Nevertheless, Rudi is confident that with the additional number of participants, the event can become more interesting.

Because the new manufacturers are predicted to bring some of their latest products. Thus, it can spoil the visitors of JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

“We are optimistic that with the new brands being added, the target seems achievable during the exhibition,” he continued.

It should be noted that the targeted number of visitors for IIMS 2025 is 500 thousand people.

Then for this year, the automotive exhibition will use a larger area, namely 154,289 square meters, because it will use the Gambir Expo and Hall B areas.

Rudi stated that TMMIN (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia) along with aftermarket and motorcycle brands will occupy the Gambir Expo area.

While the rest will be spread across all halls of JIExpo, Kemayoran. So visitors can be spoiled by the products on display.

Then there are still a number of famous artists who will entertain IIMS 2025 visitors for 11 days.
