Pertamina has once again adjusted fuel prices in May 2025, and this time, the price of the Pertamax series has decreased.

KatadataOTOPertamina once again brings good news for drivers. Because they have once again adjusted the price of fuel oil (BBM) starting today, Thursday (01/05).

Quoting the official website of this state-owned enterprise, the price of all non-subsidized fuels has dropped again at the beginning of the month.

For example, the price of Pertamax this month is Rp 12,400. Whereas previously it was sold at Rp 12,500 per liter.

Then, Pertamax Turbo has also dropped in price. From the initial Rp 13,500 in April 2025 to Rp 13,300 per liter.

Then, the price of Pertamax Green is now Rp 13,150 per liter. A month ago, this type of fuel was sold at Rp 13,250 per liter.

Meanwhile, Dexlite can now be purchased for Rp 13,350 per liter. While Pertamina Dex has dropped from Rp 13,900 to Rp 13,750 per liter.

"This price reduction policy implements the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to the Ministerial Decree No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Base Price Formula in the Calculation of the Retail Selling Price of General Fuel Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Distributed Through Public Fuel Filling Stations," Pertamina wrote in an official statement.

On the other hand, the prices of subsidized fuels like Pertalite and Biosolar have not changed in May 2025.

Pertamina is still selling Pertalite at a price of Rp 10,000 per liter. Then, Biosolar is priced at Rp 6,800 per liter.
