KatadataOTO – Good news comes from Shell Indonesia. Drivers can soon buy fuel (fuel).
This is because Pertamina has sent a supply of fuel to the company with the yellow shell logo.
"For Shell Indonesia, this time the distribution is 100 Thousand Barrels," said Robert MV Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, to Antara on Saturday (06/12).
Pertamina's decision to supply fuel to Shell is a form of their commitment to fulfilling the government's mandate.
This involves collaborating to supply fuel to the network of Shell gas stations in the country.
It was further explained that the state-owned enterprise has distributed 430 thousand barrels of fuel.
The amount above is not just for Shell. It is also distributed to BP AKR and Vivo.
Robert added that the supply provision mechanism for Shell Indonesia uses procedures in accordance with applicable regulations.
Upholding compliance and governance mechanisms, on a business-to-business (B2B) basis.
Pertamina Patra Niaga and Shell Indonesia are committed to ensuring fuel availability, energy distribution, and providing services to the public.
"The fuel commodity supplied to the Private Business Entity, in this case Shell Indonesia, has met all the requirements requested by the Private Business Entity as a form of commitment to follow up on the government's directive," Robert affirmed.
For your information, all private gas stations in Indonesia had run out of fuel stock.
They had no stock to sell to the public, so drivers could not buy products from Shell, BP AKR, or Vivo.
However, in recent months, they have agreed to purchase additional quotas from Pertamina.
So, slowly but surely, people in the country can once again buy fuel at private gas stations.
A breath of fresh air for drivers, who can use quality fuel as expected.
Here, KatadaOTO summarizes the fuel prices at all gas stations in the DKI Jakarta area and its surroundings, for the December 2025 period.
