Sales Decline in Indonesia Draws Attention from Toyota Japan

Sudewo, the Regent of Pati, reported eight vehicles in the KPK's State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), one of which is a 2023 BMW X5.

KatadataOTO – The name Sudewo, Regent of Pati, continues to be in the spotlight. On Wednesday (13/08), he was protested by his own citizens.
Sudewo was asked to step down from his position. Because several of his statements were considered to have offended the residents of Pati Regency.
Besides his behavior, Sudewo's wealth has also drawn public attention.
Especially the contents of his garage or Sudewo's personal vehicle collection, which is considered quite luxurious for a regional official.
According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN) filed in April 2025, the Regent of Pati is recorded as owning eight vehicles.
First, there is a 2013 Toyota Innova. Acquired personally with a value of Rp 120 million.
Then, Sudewo also reported a 2014 Toyota Harrier. Acquired personally with a value of Rp 400 million.
This Regent of Pati also relies on a 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Purchased for an estimated Rp 287 million.
A German product, a 2023 BMW X5, is also part of Sudewo's car collection. Reported as personally acquired with a price tag of Rp 1.9 billion.
In the same LHKPN, Sudewo also reported a 2024 Toyota Alphard and a 2019 Land Cruiser.
Each of these cars is also listed as personally acquired. Purchased by the Regent of Pati for Rp 1.7 billion and Rp 1.9 billion, respectively.
Besides cars, Sudewo also reported two motorcycles in his personal garage. Such as a Honda Beat purchased in 2017 for Rp 4 million.
The last item in Sudewo's garage is a 2004 Suzuki TS125. He acquired this motorcycle for Rp 25 million.
On the other hand, Sudewo is recorded as having a total wealth of up to Rp 31.5 billion. This amount consists of several instruments.
First, there are 31 plots of land located in Surakarta, then in Pati, Yogyakarta, Bogor, Wonogiri, Pacitan, Depok, Blora, and Tuban.
All the land and buildings owned by the Regent of Pati are estimated to have a value of up to Rp 17 billion.
The number one person in Pati also listed other movable assets worth Rp 795 million, securities worth Rp 5.3 million, and cash and cash equivalents of Rp 1.9 billion.
