KatadataOTO – BYD M9 was officially launched in China under the name Xia. This car is a premium hybrid MPV and is equipped with various comfort features that are its main attraction.

As a premium MPV, the BYD M9 is sold at a competitive price. Reporting from CarNewsChina, this car is priced from 206,800 yuan or Rp 483.3 million to 269,800 yuan or the equivalent of Rp 631.2 million.

This car comes with various interesting developments ranging from appearance, comfort to technology. It's no wonder that many call it a challenger to the Toyota Alphard.

In terms of appearance, the BYD M9 looks bold thanks to the large grille installed by the manufacturer. This look is enhanced by sharply designed headlamps and LED fog lamps on the bumper.

Like premium MPVs in general, the BYD M9 comes with electric sliding doors. However, to make it more modern, the Chinese manufacturer has added Bluetooth and NFC keys.

The car's dimensions are also quite large. It has a length of 5,145 mm, a width of 1,970 mm, a height of 1,805 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,045 mm.

The large size of the vehicle has a positive impact on comfort. Thanks to this, the cabin is more spacious and the company can design it so that passengers can enjoy the journey more.

BYD provides two interior color options, namely Sandalwood Brown Beige and Far Mountain Grey. Both are combined with 128-color ambient lighting and a PM 2.5 air filter.

In the first row, the driver and front passenger will enjoy a luxuriously designed dashboard. There is a 15.7-inch touchscreen that is already equipped with the DiLink 150 system and supports AI-based DeepSeek voice control.

To make it easier for the driver to know important vehicle information, the BYD M9 is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 26-inch head-up display (W-HUD). This feature is available on the top variant.

There is also a refrigerator, a panoramic sunroof, and a 15.6-inch entertainment screen in the second row. This will certainly pamper the bosses sitting there.
