Offering a 450 km range, the Hyundai Creta EV will launch first in the Indian market in mid-January.
Such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel equipped with a similarly sized 10.25-inch head unit placed in the center of the car's dashboard.
Then there is a panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats. Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, the entertainment sector of the Hyundai Creta EV will be supported by a premium audio system from Bose.
Regarding safety features, Hyundai has equipped the Creta EV with level 2 ADAS. Cabin safety is also supported by other additions, namely six-point airbags and a 360-degree camera to help the driver maneuver.
It is highly likely that the Hyundai Creta EV will use a 45 kWh capacity battery. Paired with a single electric motor, the power output is 138 hp and peak torque is 255 Nm, while the offered range is 450 km on a single charge.
In Indonesia, the Hyundai Creta is one of the flagship models for PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia). The manufacturer has several times released special editions such as the Creta Dynamic Black at IIMS 2023.
So far, imported Hyundai products have been brought in from South Korea, not from India. However, it does not rule out the possibility of the Indian-made Hyundai Creta EV hitting the roads in the country.
But considering the fact that the Creta is currently locally assembled and Hyundai has its own battery factory, there is a small chance that Hyundai in Indonesia will assemble the Creta EV domestically.
