Luxeed R7's Appearance Registered in Indonesia, a Chery-Huawei EREV

The latest Luxeed R7 is available in nine exterior color options, including their new color, Aurora Green.

Inside the cabin, the Luxeed R7 is equipped with a 16.1-inch high-resolution floating screen and a 12.3-inch instrument panel. The system is operated by HuaweiOS.

The shape of the steering wheel is also unique, briefly reminiscent of Tesla's yoke-style steering wheel. Behind the wheel, there is a Gear Shifter or Paddle Shift.

Passenger comfort is also a focus. Not only for the front row seats, the second row offers a seat recline adjustment of up to 37 degrees.

Speaking of the powertrain, the EREV version of the Luxeed R7 uses an electric motor with 227 kW or the equivalent of 304 hp and a 37 kWh battery, offering a pure electric range of 201 kilometers.

The top-tier Luxeed R7 EREV uses a more powerful electric motor, a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with 382 kW (512 hp).

Meanwhile, the top Luxeed R7 EV variant is equipped with two electric motors producing 365 kW (489 hp), with a range of 736 kilometers on a single charge.

The price of the Luxeed R7 in China varies depending on the variant, ranging from 249,800 yuan to 309,800 yuan, or equivalent to Rp 587 million - Rp 728 million.

There is no definite news yet about the launch of the Luxeed R7. However, seeing how aggressively Chery is bringing new products to Indonesia, there is a chance this model will be brought in as a showcase or an introduction to potential customers.
