02 February 2026, 09:00 WIB
Hybrid car prices are offered starting from Rp 200 million up to Rp 1 billion, with the Tiggo 8 CSH as a new entrant.
Currently, the options for PHEV hybrid car models are still limited. Before the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH, there was the Toyota RAV4 GR Sport PHEV.
Then the Japanese automotive manufacturer, Mazda, launched the CX-80 PHEV this year. Both the RAV4 and CX-80 are offered at Rp 1 billion and above. Thus, the presence of the Tiggo 8 CSH becomes an attractive option for consumers who want to use a PHEV.
Meanwhile, Honda also released a hybrid version of their sedan, the Civic. The Honda Civic RS e:HEV is sold for Rp 600 million, the cheapest hybrid car from PT HPM (Honda Prospect Motor).
