KatadataOTO – Nissan is one of the Japanese manufacturers that seems to be struggling to maintain sales amidst various market challenges.

In Indonesia, Nissan's sales performance is not doing so well compared to other Japanese competitors. This is compounded by the presence of various Chinese manufacturers.

Processed from Gaikindo (Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries) data, Nissan only recorded retail sales (from dealer to consumer) of 76 units throughout May 2025.

This figure has been declining since April, which was 84 units, after reaching a high for 2025 in March with 163 units.
