KatadataOTO – Not only Japanese car manufacturers, but Chinese brands are also ready to present various new products for consumers in the country in 2026.

Despite aggressively bringing in new products throughout this year, the public will still be presented with a choice of vehicles, especially electrified ones.

The majority of Chinese manufacturers are preparing electrified vehicles, including hybrids and pure electric cars.

Chinese brands like BYD seem to still be focusing on presenting electric cars for consumers in the country.

Meanwhile, other brands like Jetour will sell Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and Changan intends to bring Extended Range Electric Vehicles or EREV.

Changan has the potential to be the first Chinese brand to introduce an EREV model in Indonesia.

In addition, Chery is rumored to be introducing a boxy-style Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), the iCar V23.
