Specifications of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH Launching This Year

The transmission is absent from the center console, moved to a stalk behind the right side of the steering wheel.

The driver's seat adjustment is electric, making it easier to find a comfortable driving position.

Speaking of the powertrain, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH carries a 1,500 cc turbo engine supported by an electric motor and an 18.3 kWh battery.

“The largest battery capacity (in its class), a large energy value, and it has pure electric driving mode capability,” said Eko Fachruroji, Product Manager of PT CSI on the same occasion.

This is claimed to make the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH an ideal choice for people who want an environmentally friendly vehicle because it is efficient in the city and safe for inter-regional travel, as there is no need to worry about finding charging stations.

The embedded features also support driving safety, including a 540-degree camera, ISOFIX, and 14 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features.

The Chery Tiggo 8 CSH will reportedly be sold this year, at a price not much different from competitors in the same class that have hybrid technology, such as the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix HEV.
