Top 5 Best-Selling LCGC Cars in October 2025: Calya Still Leads
Toyota Calya recorded the highest wholesales in the LCGC segment in October 2025, followed by Daihatsu Sigra.

KatadataOTO – The Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) market is starting to show positive performance. As seen in the October 2025 period.
Processing data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), the distribution of LCGC cars from factories to dealers (Wholesales) has increased.
In October 2025, 9,767 units were distributed. Skyrocketing by about 25.2 percent compared to September.
Considering that in the previous month, LCGC car wholesales were only at the level of 7,795 units.

Of course, the achievement above is quite positive. Considering that in recent months, the affordable four-wheeled vehicle market has been struggling.
As in August and September, it experienced a decline. Making Toyota, Daihatsu, and Toyota disappointed.
Especially after the influx of Chinese electric cars. Such as the BYD Atto 1, which is sold starting from Rp 195 million.
Tempting people in Indonesia to buy these Electric Vehicles (EVs). Thus, the LCGC car market is increasingly squeezed.
Nevertheless, an increase in LCGC car wholesales is still possible. Especially with the GJAW 2025 event at the end of the month.
