KatadataOTO – After its name was registered in Japan towards the end of 2023, the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ has finally debuted and will be presented at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 at the end of this October.

The model will be officially launched for Japanese consumers in mid-2026.

The design of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ combines its signature rugged feel with modern and elegant elements, as shown on the front of the car.

The Land Cruiser FJ features an emblem with the word 'Toyota' on the grille, instead of the T logo commonly used on their vehicle lineup.

On the center rear of the tailgate, Toyota has added a spare tire, reinforcing the sporty feel of the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

Although it is still a prototype, Toyota has already revealed some of the Land Cruiser FJ's technical specifications.

This SUV has a length of 4,575 mm, a width of 1,855 mm, and a height of 1,960 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,580 mm.

Its dimensions are smaller than the Land Cruiser marketed in Indonesia, which has dimensions of L x W x H at 4,985 mm x 1,980 mm x 1,668 mm.

The engine is also different. The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ uses the 2TR-FE engine, the same one used in the Fortuner. Its capacity is 2,700 cc.

The car also shares a platform with another Toyota model, the IMV series, better known as the Hilux Rangga in Indonesia.
