That achievement is inseparable from the positive sales in Japan, reaching 536,566 units, a growth of 46.1 percent. However, the overseas market is still under pressure, having corrected down 18 percent to just 138,719 units.
Unfortunately, that positive note was not followed by Hino. The commercial vehicle manufacturer only managed to sell 110,483 units, a decline of 12 percent compared to last year.
Hino's market in Japan only reached 22,425 units, weakening by 18.6 percent. Meanwhile, the overseas market for Matahari Terbit is merely 77,058 units, corrected down 8.8 percent.
