Check Out the Latest Yamaha R25 Specifications, Claimed to Have Many Changes

KatadataOTO – Sport bike enthusiasts are likely familiar with the name Yamaha R25. The product has just been launched for the 2025 model.

YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing) claims many changes have been made to their two-wheeled vehicle.

“This product offers the latest upgrades, from its distinctive Yamaha R-DNA design, powerful engine performance, to the addition of features to support various riding needs,” said Takaaki Hirama, Deputy Director of Marketing at PT YIMM.

Hirama mentioned that the 2025 Yamaha R25 model is a global product, but it is made or produced in Indonesia.

He also hopes that his new product will be well-received by consumers and can revive the passion for the domestic sport bike market.

Yamaha R25 Specifications

In terms of appearance, there are new touches on the Yamaha R25. First, the fascia is made more aggressive with the inclusion of an M-Shaped Air Intake Duct, similar to the YZF-R9 and R1GYTR.

Then, the main headlight now uses an LED Projector. It is also equipped with a Twin Eye LED light.

Yamaha has made the R25's fairing slimmer. It is said to be able to direct airflow optimally when ridden on the highway.

This allows users to get maximum aerodynamic effect on the Yamaha R25.

The riding position has also been made more ergonomic. This is due to adjustments in the seat, which is now slimmer.

Owners will find the riding position more comfortable, especially for urban mobility and touring needs.

As for the mechanical heart, the Yamaha R25 carries a 250 cc 4-stroke, 8-valve DOHC Fuel Injection, liquid-cooled engine that is already Euro 5+ compliant.
