KatadataOTO – PT Piaggio Indonesia markets several motorcycle brands for domestic consumers, one of which is Vespa.

The motorcycle, known for its distinctive retro style, is claimed to still have many enthusiasts to this day. However, there is one thing that is considered a challenge from the aftersales side.

Piaggio does not deny that there are still consumers who do not service their Vespas at official workshops for certain reasons.

In response to this, a representative from Piaggio Indonesia said that a new program is being prepared to make it easier for consumers to perform periodic servicing or repairs.

“We are now working from the aftersales department side to create service packages, one of which is to ease the burden on consumers in carrying out maintenance,” said Ayu Hapsari, PR & Communications Manager of PT Piaggio Indonesia in Jakarta some time ago.

The hope is that the cost of ownership for Vespa motorcycles will become more efficient. So that customers will no longer hesitate to bring their vehicles to official workshops.

“If it goes smoothly, the (new program) could be running by the end or middle of the second quarter,” said Ayu.
