“For ASEAN countries like Malaysia, Thailand, and Laos, overall there were no significant obstacles,” said Anshar.
However, when wanting to cross China, the administrative process was said to be quite complicated and expensive, as he had to hire a guide provided by the local government.
Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, the road infrastructure was still very poor. For four days, Anshar had to traverse sandy and rocky inter-provincial routes.
“Several times I fell due to exhaustion and the motorcycle also experienced problems there,” Anshar affirmed.
Meanwhile, when in Iran, he was restricted from taking documentation, especially in the area of government sites.
“Honestly, I am very impressed with this Yamaha Xmax, because its durability for long journeys of tens of thousands of kilometers has been proven to be strong,” Anshar concluded.
