Moving to the engine sector, the Yamaha MT25 carries an engine similar to the R25's. It remains a 250 cc 4-stroke, 8-valve DOHC Fuel Injection, liquid-cooled, and Euro 5+ compliant engine.

It is said to be able to produce a maximum power of 35.4 hp at 12,000 rpm and a peak torque of 22.6 Nm at 10,000 rpm.

It is also equipped with an Assist & Slipper Clutch, which makes the clutch lever lighter to pull when shifting gears.

The Yamaha MT25 is also equipped with several modern features, for example, a full digital meter panel to display various information.

Furthermore, there is a Type-A USB charging port and dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), not to forget the Y-Connect connectivity feature.

It functions to display call and message notifications in real-time on the meter panel screen. It also provides a range of information, such as periodic maintenance recommendations, battery and fuel status, and trip logs.

YIMM only offers the ABS variant for the Yamaha MT25. It is available in two color options, namely Midnight City and Icy Grey, priced at around Rp 63.5 million On The Road Jakarta.
