Police Target Illegal Modification Workshops to Prevent Street Racing

The police are primarily targeting seven violations during Operasi Patuh 2025, which is scheduled to run until July 27th.

As a reminder, people face a maximum fine of Rp 500,000 or two months in prison if caught driving against the flow of traffic.
Then, for using a mobile phone or smartphone on the road, there will be a fine of Rp 750,000 or a maximum of three months in prison.
Meanwhile, underage motorcycle or car drivers face a maximum of four months in prison or a maximum fine of Rp 1 million.
Meanwhile, not using an SNI helmet will result in a maximum fine of Rp 250,000 or a maximum of one month in prison. This penalty also applies to not wearing a seatbelt.
Furthermore, for violating traffic signs or exceeding the speed limit, be prepared for a maximum fine of Rp 500,000 or two months in prison.
