Jasa Marga Records 330,507 Vehicles Have Left Jabodetabek

Jasa Marga revealed that most vehicles leaving Jabodetabek were heading east towards Trans Java and Bandung.

KatadataOTO – PT Jasa Marga reported that at least 330,507 vehicles have left Jabotabek. This figure is the total from December 18 to December 20 at 06:00 AM WIB.

This number is considered higher compared to the normal situation, which is usually only 312,173 vehicles.

"The total volume of vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area from the four main toll gates increased by 5.9 percent when compared to normal conditions (312,173 cars)," said Rivan Achmad Purwantono, President Director of Jasa Marga.

Most of the vehicles leaving Jabotabek were heading East (Trans-Java and Bandung). In total, there were 144,806 cars, or about 43.8 percent.

Of that number, 71,088 units were vehicles heading to Trans-Java via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. That figure is an increase of 10.5 percent from the normal rate.

Then, cars leaving Jabotabek towards Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate on the Cipularang Toll Road numbered 73,718 units. This was an increase of 9.2 percent from the normal rate.

Next, traffic heading west (Merak) was 106,406 units (32.2 percent). This number grew by 3.3 percent from the normal rate.

Meanwhile, 79,295 vehicles (24.0 percent) headed south (Puncak). This figure is a growth of 2.5 percent from the normal situation,

Congestion is predicted to continue to increase given the length of the Christmas and New Year 2026 holiday. Therefore, they have prepared various traffic engineering schemes, especially at points prone to congestion.

"We will anticipate the potential for congestion in the lanes by placing officers at points prone to congestion. Jasa Marga is also ready to support traffic engineering plans such as contraflow, by deploying officers and supporting signs," affirmed Rivan Achmad Purwantono, President Director of Jasa Marga.

Drivers are also urged to prepare well for their Nataru trips, obey traffic signs, and follow the directions of officers in the field.

In addition, drivers are asked to check or verify the latest information, including the contraflow schedule on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road to the Jagorawi Toll Road.
