KatadataOTOPertamina Patra Niaga is currently being hit by negative issues. One of their fuels (BBM), namely Pertamax, is suspected of being adulterated.

This was uncovered in a suspected corruption case related to crude oil management involving Riva Siahaan, President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga.

This state-owned enterprise has responded to the issue circulating among the public.

“The products we distribute are definitely in accordance with specifications and regulations,” said Heppy Wulansari, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, when contacted by KatadataOTO on Wednesday (26/02).

Heppy further assured that the Pertamax distributed by Pertamina does not violate any rules.

Furthermore, the treatment carried out at the main fuel terminal is a color injection process to differentiate products for easy recognition.

Additionally, additives are included. This serves to enhance the performance of the Pertamax product.

“So it's not adulteration or changing the RON. The public does not need to worry about the quality of Pertamax,” Heppy continued.

She also revealed that Pertamina Patra Niaga implements quite strict procedures and supervision.

Especially in carrying out QC (Quality Control) activities. This ensures that Pertamax meets the specifications.

Then, the distribution process of Pertamina's fuel is also supervised by BPH Migas (Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency).

“We adhere to the procedures to ensure quality, and its distribution is always supervised,” she asserted.

Heppy continued that Pertamina is committed to implementing good corporate governance in providing products needed by consumers.
