Test Drive Suzuki Fronx Hybrid at GIIAS 2025, Women Must Try

The Head-Up Display (HUD) on the Suzuki Fronx can be hidden using a button, located on the right side of the driver's cabin, if its presence obstructs visibility.

Thanks to this functional adjustment, it is not difficult to find a comfortable driving position in the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid for a female driver with a height of about 150 cm and above.

The first impression when looking at the cabin, Suzuki maintains its characteristic with physical button arrangements adorning the center console but made more elegant wrapped in a black color scheme.

Driving Impression

The route used was quite limited as it was only in the ICE BSD City area. However, it was enough to test the comfort and driving sensation of the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid from a female driver's perspective.

Going over an asphalt road with a slight incline, it required no effort because the 1,500 cc engine in the Fronx provides capable power to make it easy for the car to tackle uphill roads.

What was most noticeable was the suspension setup. When the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid was driven over a fairly large speed trap, the ride felt quite soft.

For the record, the car was occupied by two adult passengers with a total weight of approximately 120 kg.

At the end of the test drive track, we had to make a U-turn. Thanks to the Suzuki Fronx's turning radius of 4.8 meters, this maneuver was not difficult to perform.

So it is very suitable for urban mobility, especially if you have to enter narrow, limited parking spaces.

The fun-to-drive impression was obtained thanks to the comfortable driving position and easy adjustments, plus the presence of paddle shifters to help adjust the power delivered to the wheels and perform engine braking for deceleration.

Due to the limited opportunity, we could not fully test the various embedded ADAS features.

However, a point to note is the absence of the auto door lock feature, which is common in the latest cars. So we had to lock the doors manually before driving.

Conclusion

The Suzuki Fronx Hybrid offers capable performance for urban use.

Its driving position is similar to when we drive a compact city car. But of course, it differs in terms of power and features.

With a price in the Rp 300 million range, the Fronx is worth considering if you are looking for a compact vehicle with a sporty style.
