GJAW Concludes, New Car Sales in November 2025 Rise by 4,000 Units

BYD Atto 1 is still the best-selling car in November 2025 with wholesales reaching 8,333 units, ahead of Toyota Avanza.

KatadataOTO – Towards the end of the year, car sales have successfully experienced growth. This is evident from Gaikindo data, which shows a slight increase compared to the previous period.
In its report, it was noted that in November, total vehicle wholesales reached 74,252 units. The figure is up 0.3 percent from the previous month, which only reached 74,014 units.
From that total, the BYD Atto 1 has successfully maintained its position as the best-selling car in Indonesia. The EV from China was shipped in a quantity of 8,333 units from the factory to dealers throughout November 2025.
This number is actually lower than last month's achievement of 9,396 units. However, it still far surpasses other cars.
The Toyota Avanza, in second place, only managed to ship 3,912 units throughout November 2025. This achievement has seen growth compared to October, which only recorded 3,087 units.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Calya is in third place with shipments of 3,122 units. This number is a slight increase from the previous month's 3,057 units.
The fourth-largest shipment was filled by the Toyota Rush after its wholesales reached 2,597 units. Its growth is quite high, as in October 2025, its shipments were only 2,014 units.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Innova Zenix successfully rounded out the top 5 with shipments of 2,508 units. This figure is down from the previous month, which saw 2,748 units distributed.
After briefly dropping to 10th place, the Daihatsu Sigra managed to improve its position in November 2025. This LCGC rose to sixth place with shipments of 2,105 units, a growth from October's 1,689 units.
Next, the Toyota Kijang Innova Reborn is in seventh place thanks to shipments of 1,967 units. This record is a correction from the 2,165 in October 2025.
The Honda Brio had to drop out of the top five as it was only able to sell 1,839 units. This figure is a correction from the previous 2,175 units
Then, the Mitsubishi Destinator sits in ninth position with car shipments reaching 1,814 units. This figure has grown compared to October, which saw 1,772 units distributed.
The Mitsubishi Xpander closes out the top 10 with wholesales of 1,427 units. This figure is a correction compared to the previous month's 1,926 units.
