KatadataOTO – The four-wheeled vehicle market in Indonesia is truly sluggish. Especially in the Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) segment.

Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) in June 2025, the distribution of LCGC cars from factory to dealer (Wholesales) only reached 8,308 units.

Upon closer inspection, the figure above shows a decrease of about 10.8 percent compared to May 2025.

Considering that throughout the fifth month of 2025, LCGC car wholesales managed to record a figure of 9,321 units.

LCGC wholesales in June were the lowest in 2025. This serves as a warning to all parties that the automotive industry is not doing well.

Therefore, policymakers or the government must act quickly to stimulate the four-wheeled vehicle industry in the country.

On the other hand, within the same data, the Daihatsu Sigra remains unshaken as the best-selling LCGC car in June 2025.

The four-wheeled vehicle recorded 2,742 units in June 2025. However, this number is down from 3,059 units in May 2025.

Meanwhile, the Honda Brio Satya managed to improve its position. From fourth place, it has now moved up to second with 2,207 units.

The product from the manufacturer with the upright H logo has displaced several of its compatriots. Such as the Toyota Calya and Agya.

In third place is the Toyota Calya, which only managed to record wholesales of 1,662 units throughout last month.

Followed by the Toyota Agya right below it in fourth position. The four-wheeled vehicle had 948 units distributed in June 2025.

Finally, the Daihatsu Ayla closes out the list of best-selling LCGC cars last month. This product recorded 747 units.

Here is a summary of the best-selling LCGC cars in June 2025, compiled by KatadataOTO from Gaikindo's data.
