KatadataOTO – Kicking off 2026, Honda immediately completed the variants of its flagship model, the Brio Satya. This time, they are introducing a CVT transmission for the S type, giving the public more choices than before.
This is because the Honda Brio S Satya has only been available with a manual transmission. However, the automatic transmission option is usually quite popular among the younger generation, especially in urban areas.
Honda recognized this situation and launched the Brio Satya S CVT in early 2026.
“In major cities like Jakarta, almost 100 percent of the contribution comes from CVT transmissions. Therefore, we want to provide an option for consumers of the Honda Brio S Satya CVT at a more affordable price according to their needs,” said Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor to KatadataOTO (18/01).
Although it has been launched, he admitted that the units are not yet available at dealerships. Deliveries will begin next week.
“The units will be sent to dealerships in stages starting next week. Customers can already place orders,” he then affirmed.
According to the official website, the Honda Brio S Satya CVT has no differences from the manual version. This car still features an attractive look thanks to the use of a chrome-plated grille on the front.
Its appearance is more attractive with the use of 14-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, this LCGC car is equipped with black and gray fabric seat upholstery. Interestingly, although it is the lowest variant, several attractive features have been included.
Starting from the Digital AC to a 7-inch display screen that can connect to the radio, USB, and even Screen Morroring.
The Honda Brio S Satya CVT still uses a 1,200 cc capacity engine. This powertrain is capable of producing 88.7 hp at 6,000 rpm and 110Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm.
That performance is then channeled to the two front wheels through a CVT transmission which is claimed to provide more comfort for the driver.
Its toughness is also supported by Electric Power Steeting and ABS and EBD braking systems. Thus, it is hoped that the driving experience can be more enjoyable.
To get it, the Honda Brio S Satya CVT is sold for Rp 183.5 million.
