Ade Rai's Car Collection, Owns 3 Mazdas

KatadataOTO – I Gusti Agung Rai Kusuma Yudha, or commonly known as Ade Rai, is apparently a Mazda loyalist. This is because all the cars he owns are from that brand.

This was revealed when he attended the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. He purchased Mazda's latest SUV, the CX-60 Hybrid.

“I bought the CX-60 Hybrid simply because it fits my needs; so far, all my cars have been sedans, namely the MX-5 and Mazda 6 Sedan. I really need an SUV to be able to carry more things,” he told the media.

Although he admitted to having previously owned cars from other brands, all his current vehicles are from Mazda. He even admitted to being a customer since 2012 when he bought the Mazda 6 Sedan.

“I bought the Mazda 6 Sedan because of its design, and then I got the MX-5 because I also liked its appearance. In my opinion, it looks like a car used by James Bond,” he then added.

The Mazda MX-5 became his favorite car, even though its size is considered small.

“When I bought it, I didn't know it was that small; I bought it because I liked the design. When the car was delivered to my house, I was surprised myself because it's even quite difficult to put things in it,” he admitted.

However, he admitted that thanks to its small size, he learned to be more selective in what he carries.

“Nevertheless, I really like its performance and driving feel, so I will still use it when I go out alone. Meanwhile, the Mazda CX-60 Hybrid will be used for the family,” he said.

Launching Various Vehicles at GIIAS 2025

It was previously reported that at the GIIAS 2025 event, Mazda launched the new Mazda CX-3 Kuro and the CX-60 Sport and Pro. Each vehicle has been designed to meet the needs of customers in the country.

“We want every visitor to feel welcomed, valued, and emotionally connected with the Mazda brand,” said Ricky Thio, Chief Operating Officer, PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) at ICE BSD (23/07).

The new Mazda CX-3 Kuro is sold for IDR 417 million, while the Pro AutoExe variant is IDR 565 million.

Then, the Mazda CX-60 Sport is priced at IDR 699 million and the Pro version at IDR 818 million.
