KatadataOTO – Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) and Lexus continue to accelerate the strengthening of their electrification lineup, such as by introducing electric cars and hybrids.
Their efforts don't stop there; the Japanese brand is also strengthening the ecosystem for environmentally friendly four-wheeled vehicles.
Most recently, the two manufacturers have introduced the Toyota Privilege Parking and Charging facility. It is located next to the Hejo Lobby at 23 Paskal Shopping Center in Bandung.
This service can be used for free by all owners of electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles, ranging from Hybrid EVs and Plug-in Hybrid EVs to Battery EVs.
The available facilities consist of nine dedicated parking slots. There is also one AC Charger Type 2 (22 kW) unit.
It is also supported by dedicated staff to assist with parking and charging, so customers can feel even more comfortable.
"In line with the vision of Mobility for All and Carbon Neutrality, Toyota is expanding mobility solutions that are inclusive, environmentally friendly and provide real benefits to customers' lives," said Jap Ernando Demily, Marketing Director of TAM through an official statement, Saturday (29/11).
Ernando revealed that the facility was intentionally created to support the mobility of customers who want to reduce emissions without abandoning their lifestyle.
The presence of Toyota Privilege Parking and Charging ensures that customers can conveniently recharge their batteries, allowing them to drive even further.
"The privilege parking and charging spot facilities at 23 Paskal Shopping Center ensure that users of Toyota and Lexus electrified vehicles in the Bandung area and its surroundings have a more comfortable, easy, and worry-free driving experience," Ernando stressed.
On the other hand, Toyota is developing the xEV Ecosystem, spread across a network of official dealers and workshops in various regions.
Together with stakeholders, Toyota has installed free charging spots at 113 official dealers. In the future, this number will continue to grow.
Meanwhile, to facilitate inter-city mobility, Toyota is collaborating with PLN to operate several charging spots at rest areas on the Trans-Java Toll Road.
