DFSK Gelora E is offered as an electric vehicle option for commercial purposes, at an increasingly competitive price.
KatadataOTO – DFSK Gelora E, an electric-powered commercial vehicle, is present at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2025. The newest variant is presented with an affordable price starting from Rp 248 million.
This blind van is expected to meet the needs of business owners in using an environmentally friendly vehicle with a competitive price.
“All innovations brought to the Indonesian market are designed to provide real value for business owners,” said Alexander Barus, CEO of PT Sokonindo Automobile in Tangerang, Friday (21/11).
The B-Type variant is designed to carry cargo, with a cargo length of 2.5 meters and a maximum volume of 4.8 cubic meters.
In terms of design and functionality, there are no significant differences between the DFSK Gelora E Blind Van and the previous type.
However, upon closer inspection, the battery capacity has been reduced. Previously, the DFSK Gelora E Blind Van was equipped with a 42 kWh battery, which has now been changed to 38 kWh.
Thus, there is a slight reduction in the driving range from over 300 km to 268 km on a single full charge.
There are two charging options: Fast Charging to charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in 80 minutes.
Then there is AC Charging, or standard charging. The charging duration for the same percentage takes about 3.5 hours.
Commercial vehicle The DFSK Gelora E Blind Van electric is also equipped with a number of safety systems such as battery protection and an IP67-standard electrical system.
Not to forget the Anti-Lock Braking System, which helps improve control and safety while driving.
Then, one of the important considerations is adequate after-sales service support, including a service network and the availability of spare parts.
There is a battery and Electric Vehicle (EV) system warranty for five years or 200,000 km, a vehicle warranty for three years or 120,000 km, and free maintenance for five years or 200,000 km.
“Mobility is not just a matter of moving from one location to another, but the foundation for productivity, efficiency, and business operational sustainability,” Alexander emphasized.
