KatadataOTO – CSI (Chery Sales Indonesia) launched a new car, namely the Chery Tiggo Cross at the IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 exhibition.

The product will be released to consumers starting today, Thursday (13/02). Automotive enthusiasts can place their orders immediately.

“If orders are placed at IIMS 2025, we will have already started delivery and production by the end of the same month,” said Mohamad Ilham Pratama, Head of Marketing for CSI at PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk), on Monday (10/02).

Ilham stated that they do not want consumers in the country to wait long to get their new product.

Moreover, March 2025 will be the month of Ramadan. And not long after, the community will welcome Eid al-Fitr.

Therefore, the manufacturer from China is trying to meet the demand for new cars during the 2025 Lebaran homecoming season.

“We want to meet the Lebaran demand, because it's undeniable that there is always a demand for new cars for Lebaran,” he continued.

He also explained that many consumers have been asking when orders for the Chery Tiggo Cross will open.

They are interested in owning this SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). Thus, they want to own the product soon.

“The speed of the (delivery) depends on the completion of the administration. Whether it's a credit or cash purchase,” said Ilham.

For your information, Chery's new car adopts the Tiger Philosophy design language as its basic design or DNA.

This can be seen in the headlights. They are slanted with three blades inside, like a tiger's claw.

Moving to the interior, this car offers comfort for both the driver and passengers. Because the cabin is quite spacious and is already equipped with premium soft-touch materials.

Furthermore, to add more comfort, the Chery Tiggo Cross is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity systems.

Not to be missed is the integrated entertainment screen and meter panel, measuring 10.25 inches. The Chery Tiggo Cross also comes with an electric sunroof and a high-resolution 360-degree camera.

On the other hand, for the powertrain, the Chery Tiggo Cross relies on a 1,500 cc engine. It is claimed to be able to produce 144 hp and a peak torque of 210 Nm.
