Buying a Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid requires patience; there's a three-month waiting list.

KatadataOTO – The Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid was officially launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2025. Daihatsu's first electrified model is offered at a price below IDR 300 million.

Entering January 2026, the price of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is still maintained at around IDR 299 million on the road in Jakarta.

The model can now be ordered by customers at the nearest dealerships. However, it should be noted that the Rocky Hybrid is still fully imported from its country of origin, Japan.

Therefore, there is a unit limit due to import quotas. In 2025 alone, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) stated that 100 units are ready to be delivered.

Meanwhile, the number of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) for the Rocky Hybrid as of November 2025 has reached 500 units.

Therefore, customers who order the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid in 2026 will likely need to be patient for their units to arrive.

“For current orders, unit delivery will take around two to three months,” said Tri Mulyono, Marketing and Customer Relations Division Head of PT ADM to KatadataOTO recently.

The import quota for the Rocky Hybrid this year was not specified in detail, but Daihatsu is trying to deliver units to customers who have placed orders since the launch.

“Starting from the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) yesterday (2025), unit deliveries have been made according to the established order queue,” Tri affirmed.

For your information, the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is one of the compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) options with hybrid technology offered at a competitive price in Indonesia.

At its launch at GIIAS 2025, the price was IDR 293.3 million on the road in Jakarta before being revised to IDR 299.9 million.

The presence of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is expected to attract more consumers to use environmentally friendly vehicles.

As of January 2026, the price increase for the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is only IDR 50,000. It is possible that this figure could change following other policies, such as an increase in vehicle ownership transfer fees.

Daihatsu itself is striving to maintain the price of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid below the IDR 300 million mark in early 2026.
