Below, KatadataOTO summarizes the BYD Atto 1 installment scheme for the Dynamic and Premium variants, starting from IDR 2 million.
KatadataOTO – BYD Atto 1 is touted as one of the cheapest electric cars in Indonesia, launching at the GIIAS 2025 event. This latest model is sold starting from Rp 195 million for the lowest trim.
Out of the 4,195 Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) for BYD collected during GIIAS 2025, the BYD Atto 1 contributed significantly and garnered a positive response.
Its competitive price is cited as one of the reasons the BYD Atto 1 is popular among domestic customers.
This price tag is possible because BYD manufactures many of its vehicle components in-house, including the battery.
“When we can master the (components), that's indeed the price. It's the result of mastering all those components,” said Luther T. Panjaitan, Head of PT & Government Relations at PT BYD Motor Indonesia, when met in Tangerang some time ago.
The BYD Atto 1 targets consumers who want to use an environmentally friendly vehicle in urban areas.
Its dimensions are quite compact with L x W x H at 3,952 mm x 1,720 mm x 1,590 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,500 mm.
Besides offering compact dimensions and a unique exterior design, the BYD Atto 1 is also equipped with capable specifications for consumers.
The battery used is an LFP Blade Battery. The lowest trim has a capacity of 30.08 kWh, while the highest variant has 38.88 kWh.
Both offer a range of 300 km and 380 km on a single full charge.
Its electric motor performance is claimed to produce a maximum power of 73 hp and a peak torque of 135 Nm, delivered to the front wheels.
Acceleration from 0-100 km/h can be achieved in just 4.9 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 130 km/h.
For consumers interested in buying on credit, installments are offered starting from Rp 3 million. Below, KatadataOTO summarizes the BYD Atto 1 installment plan .
