KatadataOTO – Sales of BYD Atto 3 have surpassed 1 million units worldwide. This milestone was achieved in 3 years and 9 months since it was first launched in China on February 19, 2022.
This means BYD took 1,391 days to reach 1 million deliveries of the Atto 3. On average, the largest Chinese vehicle manufacturer sold about 30 units of this model per hour, or about 719 cars per day, 5,032 units per week, and 20,129 units per month.
It should be noted that the BYD Atto 3 has a different name in China: the Yuan Plus. The name is taken from the Yuan dynasty that once ruled.
According to Carnewschina, several other BYD models have also achieved similar sales figures. The BYD Song, Qin, and Seagull have each sold more than 1 million units.
In Indonesia, the BYD Atto 3 has become a quite attractive electric car option. This unit features a sporty design, enhanced by sloping body lines combined with minimalist curves on the sides.
As for lighting, the BYD Atto 3 already relies on LED technology. This further enhances the modern image of the vehicle from China.
Inside the cabin, the BYD Atto 3 features an attractive design equipped with various features to enhance comfort. For instance, the 15.6-inch monitor can be rotated both vertically and horizontally according to preference.
The car is also equipped with driving modes, music volume controls, parking sensors, and a start-stop system button.
The BYD Atto 3 comes in several variants. However, for the top variant, BYD pairs a 60.48 kWh battery with a permanent synchronous electric motor.
This combination allows the car to reach 100 km per hour in 7.3 seconds from a standstill. Meanwhile, its maximum speed is 160 km per hour and its range reaches 480 km.
