KatadataOTO – For the first time BYD Motor Indonesia has prepared Eid homecoming posts. These facilities were created to assist people who want to return to their hometowns using their electric cars.

The 2025 BYD Homecoming Posts are here to serve the growing number of BYD and Denza electric vehicle users. The locations are spread across several strategic points, making it convenient for customers.

They will be present at Rest Area KM 57 and Rest Area KM 379 A, operating from March 27 - April 2. Then, Rest Area KM 229 B will be open from April 2 - 6.

These posts provide various complete facilities to ensure long-distance journeys remain smooth and worry-free. Thus, people can be more confident during the Eid homecoming.

In addition, 12 BYD dealers in various cities will also remain operational as on-call dealers. These locations are ready to provide emergency services and technical support for BYD electric vehicle users during the homecoming season.

The presence of homecoming posts is considered quite important as it is estimated that many people will use electric cars when returning to their hometowns. Meanwhile, BYD is currently one of the manufacturers selling many of them in Indonesia.

One of the best-selling models is the BYD M6, which is in the MPV segment. In February 2025, the car sold 1,093 units, a 2-fold increase compared to 581 units in January.

It should be noted that BYD is currently striving to strengthen its position in Indonesia. Besides providing optimal service during the homecoming season, they are also continuously expanding their network in the country.

Without hesitation, they plan to build at least 45 networks in 2025. Thus, by the end of the year, they will have 80 outlets spread across major cities in Indonesia.

The automotive company from China is establishing a production facility in the Subang area of West Java. This factory can make the products they sell more competitive compared to other electric cars in the country.
