Believed to be exported to various countries, the BYD Seal Wagon PHEV offers a new option for environmentally friendly vehicles.
KatadataOTO – After being introduced to Chinese consumers, the BYD Seal Wagon PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) has officially launched with a starting price of 109,800 yuan or equivalent to around IDR 248.5 million.
Using the name BYD Seal 06 DM-i wagon, the model offers the advantages of fuel efficiency and a comprehensive driving range of 2,000 km.
This means that with a full battery and fuel tank, the BYD Seal Wagon PHEV can travel as far as 2,000 km. If relying solely on the battery, its range is 80 km.
Not only that, BYD claims the fuel consumption of the Seal Wagon PHEV is 3.15 liters/100 km or about 31.75 km/liter.
Although station wagons are considered less popular in several countries, this model is said to have export potential, especially considering the positive trend of environmentally friendly vehicles.
In terms of design, the BYD Seal Wagon PHEV has an identity not much different from its sedan version, adopting the Marine Aesthetics concept.
Its appearance is elegant, and the use of hidden door handles adds to the wagon's sleek impression. Speaking of dimensions, the L x W x H of the Seal Wagon PHEV are 4,850 mm x 1,890 mm x 1,505 mm.
Reported by Carnewschina on Saturday (05/07), BYD wants to emphasize practicality as the main feature of the BYD Seal Wagon PHEV.
