KatadataOTO – For the first time, electric sedan Xpeng P7 will be presented to domestic consumers at the Indonesia International Motor Show event or IIMS 2026.

This becomes Xpeng's first sedan offered to domestic consumers. Previously, Xpeng in Indonesia sold the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) X9 and Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) G6.

So it's an interesting development because the sedan market in Indonesia is still relatively small. However, interest in electric sedans is slowly growing, especially after the arrival of BYD Seal.

It seems the Xpeng P7 will take advantage of that momentum and try to bring an electric sedan to complement their vehicle lineup in Indonesia.

The Xpeng P7 electric sedan in China is available in three different variants: RWD Long Range, AWD Performance, and Wing Edition.

The main difference among the three lies in the driving range. However, the battery used is the same, with a capacity of 82.7 kWh, which is NCM material.

The Xpeng P7 measures 4,888 mm in length, 1,896 mm in width, 1,450 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,998 mm. These dimensions allow the Xpeng P7 to accommodate up to five passengers in the cabin.

As a brand that prioritizes technology, the P7 is equipped with a suite of driving safety systems called Xpilot 2.5.

Xpilot 2.5 includes several features such as Surround View Camera, High Perception Camera, In-car Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering Control, Active Lane Change, and Rear Collision Warning.

Then the Xmart OS software enables the Xpeng P7 to integrate Bluetooth connectivity and over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities.
