KatadataOTO – Toyota will launch four new cars at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026. The lineup consists of three electrified vehicles and one car from Gazoo Racing.
The presence of these four models will be further strengthened by the official launch of the Toyota Veloz Hybrid, which was introduced late last year.
“We will bring three electrified products and simultaneously start sales of the Veloz Hybrid in Indonesia. Then we will also have one product from GR,” said Henry Tanoto, Vice President of PT. Toyota-Astra Motor in Jakarta (26/01).
Unfortunately, he did not specify in more detail which segment the models would enter. Nevertheless, Henry hopes the presence of new products can be proof of the company's commitment to developing electrified vehicles.
Not only that, in 2026 Toyota is also committed to improving customer service. This is important to provide comfort to customers throughout their Toyota car ownership.
“We will provide spare parts at affordable prices, high quality yet still accessible. Then we will strengthen our trade-in services,” he added.
Henry Tanoto also stated that the manufacturer will strengthen its activities in the world of motorsport. Thus, it is hoped that the Gazoo Racing name will also be elevated.
“At IIMS 2026, Gazoo Racing will be involved in motorsport activities. We will also share our activities in this segment to show how far we have progressed,” he then affirmed.
Although it will only be officially launched at IIMS 2026, orders for the Toyota Veloz Hybrid were already opened in late 2025. Its arrival was met with a positive response, with orders reaching 4,000 units by the end of 2025.
Of that number, the V type became the most sought-after by customers. Impressively, it accounted for 60 percent of the total existing orders.
Meanwhile, deliveries will also begin next month and are expected to be used by the public for the Lebaran homecoming.
